How to use
Designed for japa, mantra repetition, prayer, and meditation. Traditional full-length malas commonly use approximately 108 prayer beads; individual handmade strands may vary slightly.
Origin & sourcing
The rudraksha seeds are identified as Java / Indonesian. The finished malas were personally selected and purchased in Varanasi, India, an ancient sacred and pilgrimage city with a longstanding tradition of making, stringing, trading, and using malas.
Care
Keep the mala dry, handle it gently, and store it where the seeds, knots, and tassel will not be crushed or tangled. See Namaste Nook’s mala-care guide for more detailed care.
