FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Most of what people ask us falls into a few categories: shipping, returns, sizing, and what to do with a piece once it arrives. This page covers all of it in plain language — the full legal detail lives in our Shipping, Refund, and Terms pages if you want it.

Shipping

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Most orders leave Namaste Nook within 1 to 3 business days of being placed. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday begin processing the next business day. During busy periods, markets, or holidays, it may take a little longer — we'll always try to keep you posted if so.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order and address. US orders of $50 or more qualify for free standard shipping, applied automatically once you hit that total.

Do you ship internationally?

Not right now — Namaste Nook currently ships within the United States only. If that changes, it'll appear as an option at checkout.

How do I track my order?

You'll get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your order ships. You can also check status any time from the Orders page in your account.

My tracking shows a delay, or says delivered but I don't have it. What do I do?

Contact us and we'll look into it with you. Once a package is marked delivered to the address on file, responsibility generally passes to the carrier and recipient — but we're glad to help you chase down a delay or a missing package before it comes to that.

Returns & Exchanges

What's your return policy?

You can request a return within 14 days of delivery. The item needs to be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the condition you received it, with any original tags or packaging.

How do I start a return?

Contact us first, before sending anything back — returns sent without a prior request may not be accepted. We'll walk you through the next steps once we hear from you.

Who pays for return shipping?

You cover return shipping for change-of-mind returns or sizing issues, and original shipping charges aren't refundable. If we made a mistake, or your item arrived damaged or defective, that's on us.

Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?

We'll try — but many Namaste Nook pieces are one-of-a-kind or exist in very limited quantity, so we can't guarantee the same item will still be there to exchange into. We'll work with you to find something that fits if the original is gone.

What does "Final Sale" mean, and can I return those items?

Final Sale items are marked as such at checkout and aren't eligible for return unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Custom or personalized items and gift cards are treated as Final Sale as well.

My order arrived damaged, defective, or wrong. What now?

Reach out as soon as you notice, and hold onto the item and its packaging. We may ask for a couple of photos so we can sort it out quickly and make it right.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Contact us right away and we'll do what we can. We can usually accommodate a change or cancellation before an order has been processed or shipped — once it ships, our standard return policy takes over instead.

Products & Sizing

It says "one of a kind" — what does that mean, and will you restock it?

It means exactly one of that piece exists in our shop. Most one-of-a-kind items are personally selected in India in small quantities, so once one sells, it's genuinely gone rather than back-ordered. We add new pieces as we find them, but we can't promise a specific item will come back.

How do I know what size I'll get?

Every wearable piece lists its measurements laid flat (not stretched) right on the product page — shoulder, chest, length, and so on. The easiest way to use them: lay a similar piece you already own flat, and compare the numbers directly. These are sourced pieces rather than items made to a standard size chart, so this comparison method works better than guessing at S/M/L.

See our Size & Fit Guide for the full walkthrough and a glossary of every measurement term.

Will the colors look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but expect small natural variation. Many pieces are handmade, hand-dyed, or hand-printed, and screens render color a little differently from device to device.

Are these items new, vintage, or handmade?

It varies by piece and is noted in each product's description — many are handmade or artisan-made in small batches, some are vintage-inspired. Natural variation in weave, print, or embroidery between pieces is part of how they're made, not a flaw.

Care

How do I take care of my mala, scarf, or brass piece?

It depends on the exact material — a silk scarf and a cotton one want different treatment, and the same goes for sandalwood versus rudraksha. Our full Care Guide covers each material on its own, so find the section that matches what you have. If you're looking for what a material means rather than how to clean it, see our Mala Guide or Incense & Home Ritual Guide.

Orders & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Any major credit or debit card, plus whichever additional secure options appear at your checkout, such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. Checkout is processed securely through Shopify, and Namaste Nook never sees or stores your full card details.

Do you offer gift wrapping or a gift note?

Not as a formal service right now. If you're sending something as a gift, leave a note in your order comments at checkout and we'll do what we reasonably can.

Contact & Other

How can I reach you?

Use the form on our Contact page. We typically reply within 1 to 2 business days.

Who is behind Namaste Nook?

Namaste Nook is run by Marrina LLC, a small independent business based in Kissimmee, Florida.
